London Airports Taxi / Cab Service on Marathon Day

26th April 2015 Virgin Marathon will be taking place in London , due to the Marathon and safety of visitors many of the roads will remain closed for part of the day. Travellers are advised to  have  enough time in hand for their journey , due to the closure of road, drivers will be forced to use diversions and which may subject to longer route than the usual route. Passengers travelling to airports , specially London City Airport may need longer time for their journey as many of the roads near to London City Airport will be affected by this Marathon or by road closure. Drivers will not be allowed to park their vehicle on the street which are  marked as Marathon route over the day .  London City Airport's inbound and outbound traffic may hugely affected by road closure, passengers like to use taxi / minicab/ bus services may need to walk for a while before they can be picked up or may need to drop off earlier than their destination , if they live on the Marathon route .
